The Lofoten Islands region offers an untrammelled landscape of majestic mountains, deep fjords and a deep history of vikings.
Lapland is an intensely beautiful landscape of snow-bound forests, frozen lakes and vast expanses of tundra. There is an almost magical stillness in winter, and though the sun barely skims the horizon, for a few hours a day the sky glows deep blue and the snow seems almost luminous in the oblique light.
After dark, we have a chance to see the sky light up with the mesmerising swirl of the Northern Lights!!!

Seeing the Northern Lights, is on many a bucket list.
We have put together a unique program with 7 nights high in the Arctic Circle to give you an excellent chance of witnessing the mesmerising swirl of the Aurora Borealis.
First we stay in the Lofoten Islands, a place of staggering beauty, with peaceful fjords and handsome mountains and minimal human habitation. Then the Arctic Express train takes us on a scenic journey to Swedish Lapland, an intensely beautiful landscape of snow-bound forests, frozen lakes and vast expanses of tundra.
In these northern reaches of the world, each day can bring an almost magical stillness, and though the sun barely skims the horizon, for a few hours a day the sky glows deep blue and the snow seems almost luminous in the oblique light. After dark, with luck, you will be awed by the green and pink radiance arcing above you.
Spend a few days in Oslo, one of Europe’s fastest growing capitals. It has art – old and contemporary; a magnificent setting on a fjord and surrounded by mountains; fabulous restaurants and a thriving nightlife. We’ll share the highlights AND give you time to explore on your own.
Enjoy a brief visit to Stockholm, often called the Venice of Scandinavia, as it is built upon 14 islands. During winter, the air is crisp and clean, the waterways covered in ice, the rooftops covered in a blanket of snow and the trees glittering with ice – a fairytale wonderland.
We will be returning to The Arctic region on our eclectic journey through the Lofoten Islands and Swedish Lapland. Our unique program encompasses the highlights from both regions and is packaged together in a cost-effective conference package.
