Day 1

Buenos Aires

Check into your luxury hotel for your 3 night stay in the gorgeous Recoleta district – the best shopping, bars and restaurants at your doorstep. The evening is free for you to recuperate from your flight or, if you are feeling energetic, you can hit the streets late like a true Porteño (Buenos Aires resident) for dinner, drinks, music or dancing.

Day 2

Buenos Aires

This morning tour the highlights of the city. Visit the historic Plaza de Mayo bordered by imposing public buildings including Casa Rosada (Pink House), the presidential palace. Explore the charming barrio of San Telmo with narrow cobblestone streets housing cluttered antique shops, artist studios and cafes.

Walk through the vibrantly colourful streets of La Boca and then explore the Recoleta district where you are free to enjoy its wide avenues, lush parks and ritzy boutiques. You might visit the incredible Recoleta Cemetery – a city on its own.

This evening experience a superb Tango show and dinner at the sophisticated cabaret where Carlos Gardel, who introduced the world to the evocative sounds of tango singing, once performed.

Day 3

Buenos Aires

Today you will board a timber launch and cruise the Delta del Paraná with its myriad of channels and islands. Glide past quaint stilt houses, English-style rowing clubs, rambling mansions and countless piers and marinas. Enjoy a relaxing morning tea on the boat before returning to the city.

The afternoon is free for you to enjoy Buenos Aires’ on your own.

Day 4

Buenos Aires – Iguazu Falls

Fly from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls. Winding under the rainforest canopy in safari trucks, hear the call of birds and spot superbly coloured butterflies. Board a zodiac for a twirling, churning, thrilling ride up the rapids to the base of Devil’s Throat falls. Stand at the top of Devil’s Throat and be awed by the thundering power of Iguassu Falls. Then transfer across the border into Brazil.

Day 5

Iguazu Falls

This morning you are free to explore the Brazilian side of the Falls right at your doorstep. Follow the path as it zigzags down the side of the gorge through lush jungle and watch the water cascading down in a hundred different places. Finally stand in front of the falls surrounded by mist and spume, the ground vibrating beneath you with the force of the cascade.

Take an optional helicopter ride to really appreciate this amazing natural wonder.

Day 6

Iguazu Falls - Rio de Janeiro

Fly to Rio de Janeiro to join the main conference group.

End of arrangements. Join the main conference group in Rio.
